How to Reach the Kitchen
We read everything that arrives. Cooking questions, disputed ratios, corrections, permission requests and commercial enquiries all go through the same two addresses, and both are monitored on working days.
Editorial: [email protected]
Use this address for anything to do with what we publish. That includes recipe questions, a technique that failed in your kitchen, a temperature or weight that looks wrong, a regional dish you think we have described inaccurately, and any request to reuse our text or photographs.
It is also the address for advertising, licensing and partnership enquiries. We answer those, but they go to the commercial side and never to the people who decide what gets covered.
Privacy and Data: [email protected]
Use this address for anything involving your personal information: access requests, deletion or correction requests, objections to processing, withdrawal of consent, and requests to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information under California law.
Data requests sent to the editorial address are forwarded rather than lost, but sending them directly is faster. Details of what we handle and why are in the Privacy Policy.
Response Times
Most messages get a reply within three working days. Corrections are prioritized above everything else: if you report a factual or technical error, we aim to acknowledge it within one working day and to verify it as soon as we can retest the step in question.
Privacy requests are handled within the statutory deadlines that apply to you, which is one month under European and United Kingdom rules and forty-five days under California rules. Where a request is complex, we will tell you before the deadline and explain the extension.
What to Include
For a recipe problem, the useful details are the exact page, the step where it went wrong, the equipment you used, and any substitution you made. Oven type, pan material and ingredient brand matter more than people expect, and they usually explain the difference.
For a correction, tell us what the page says and what you believe it should say. A source helps but is not required. For a data request, tell us which right you are exercising so we can route it correctly.
What This Address Cannot Do
We do not give personalized dietary, medical or nutritional advice, and we cannot assess whether a recipe is safe for a specific allergy or medical condition. Those questions belong with a qualified professional who knows your situation. The scope of what we publish is set out in the Disclaimer.
We also do not publish guest posts or accept unsolicited submissions of finished articles.
